Myosa® for Teeth Grinders - TG
Worn over the upper teeth, the Myosa® TG creates a protective barrier that helps shield the teeth and reduce strain on the jaw joints (TMJ) caused by grinding. Its flexible design allows the appliance to sit gently in the mouth, making it a comfortable option for nighttime wear and for those who prefer a softer feel.
The Myosa® TG is custom-mouldable in under 2 minutes, allowing it to adapt securely to your teeth for reliable retention once formed correctly. Its flexible material fits comfortably in a wide range of mouth sizes and can help reduce muscle tension around the mouth during sleep.

Moulding your appliance and instructions for use
Step 1
Pour freshly boiled water into a glass bowl. Immediately place the appliance into the water for 30 seconds upside down with base uppermost.
Step 2
Gently lift the appliance from boiled water using a spoon and shake off excess water to bring the surface temperature to a bearable level quickly proceed with the next step.
Step 3
Use a mirror to line up centre of appliance with centre line of upper teeth, then press firmly against your front teeth and molars.
Step 4
Close your mouth while biting down firmly on appliance. Suck in strongly and press edges into your teeth and gumline through the lips and cheeks for 20 seconds.
Step 5
Remove from mouth and cool under tap water for 2 minutes. Reinsert into mouth to check for a firm fit. If necessary, repeat the fitting procedure once appliance has returned to room temperature.
Initially use the Myosa® TG during the day to become accustomed to it. Once accustomed, use it while sleeping.
Cleaning your Myosa®
Clean your Myosa® appliance under warm running water every time you remove it from your mouth. Use Myoclean™ tablets weekly to correctly clean your appliance.
